The luxury of working with picture life books begins with
your first meeting. We take time learning what will be
important to your story and how you like to work. We create a schedule that puts the logistics on our
shoulders, leaving you free to storytell and critique. We’ll
interview you over repeated sessions, encouraging you
to elaborate where you’d like. After we’ve put together a
draft, you’ll have the opportunity to review, amend and
approve your story.
Images are an important part of all our books. While
some clients have their photos digitally archived and
accessible, there are those of us that fear the dusty
box in the basement. picture life books can work with
either, taking the headache out of sorting, organizing and
scanning. Once we have your images, we’ll start to put
your book together, asking you for as much design input
as you’d like to give.
When we’ve got the final thumbs up from you, everything
is edited and proofed, then sent off to our small, family owned
printer who will make your one-of-a-kind story a
All our books are hard-covered and dust-jacketed. Our
most common sizes are 10 x 8, 13 x 11 and 12 x 12, but
we are flexible. Paper is thick, rich and luxurious.
